A wooden megaphone near the village of Zlata Baňa invites you to listen to the intense sound of nature. The 4-metre long megaphone was created by four young men from the civic association Voice of the Forest and built by 15 guys in their free time.
The core of the megaphone consists of seven rings, made of 63 parts. The rings are connected by three four-metre prisms. One can sit down in the megaphone and immediately absorb the sounds of nature. The enormous 2.5-ton structure is shaped like a nine-sided igloo, and deliberately so. This shape has the property of concentrating the rays and waves bouncing off its walls into a single point. A person sitting near this point will thus hear the amplified sounds coming from the surroundings and can comfortably listen to what the forest is telling him.
This unique attraction is the second in Europe, the only similar one can be found only in Estonia.
