{"id":539,"date":"2026-07-30T12:09:03","date_gmt":"2026-07-30T12:09:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.slanskevrchy.com\/?post_type=poi&#038;p=539"},"modified":"2026-07-30T12:09:03","modified_gmt":"2026-07-30T12:09:03","slug":"grofsky-park-v-hanusovciach-nad-toplou","status":"publish","type":"poi","link":"https:\/\/www.slanskevrchy.com\/en\/poi\/grofsky-park-v-hanusovciach-nad-toplou\/","title":{"rendered":"The Count\u2019s Park in Hanu\u0161ovce nad Top\u013eou"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the mid-18th century, near&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.regionsaris.sk\/historia\/kastiel-hanusovce-nad-toplou\/\">The Grand Manor House<\/a>&nbsp;An ornamental garden was laid out \u2013 the Count\u2019s Park, with a formal layout. Its most valuable layout extended across the terraces in front of the south-eastern fa\u00e7ade of the manor house. The terraced layout was based on the natural configuration of the terrain, whilst the garden architecture drew on Baroque stylistic elements. It was preserved in this form until the mid-19th century, when the formal garden was converted into a natural landscape park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the Second World War, there was in the vicinity&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.regionsaris.sk\/historia\/kastiel-hanusovce-nad-toplou\/\">The Grand Manor House<\/a>&nbsp;The entire spruce stand was felled and used in the construction of the Pre\u0161ov\u2013Str\u00e1\u017eske railway line between 1939 and 1943. The historic park was also significantly damaged by the fact that the newly built railway line cut through its north-western section.
